Welcome back to the Drifting on Arroyo podcast. This is mig. This is lano, rk67 and a very, very, very special guest. He, he's back. This is G-Dog.
Lano:G-Dog Back. What's up, gentlemen?
Mig:The original, the OG founding drifter.
Rick:Yeah, hey, are the mics on? Yeah, can you hear me? I can hear everybody. Oh, it sounded a little weird. Yeah, I can hear We've been blessed by the presence of Of G-Dog.
Mig:We're finally, the stars finally aligned. And, yeah, his duo is finally In the neighborhood and have to swing by During recording time.
Rick:Yeah, this has to be. This has to be On a more regular basis, right here, yeah.
Gino:Four, four on video Right. We haven't done that. We haven't done that yet.
Lano:Yeah, four on video.
Gino:This whole right. We haven't done that.
Rick:We haven't done that yet, yeah, so that's uh, this whole video thing is a little new for me looking at the camera like okay yeah, sorry, well, he does.
Gino:I mean, we don't even look at it yeah, I mean people people that watch it.
Mig:They're all. They comment and shows like what are you guys looking at? You know it's like, look at the screen up here, I'm looking at rick or whatever they didn't comment on rick scratching his nuts.
Lano:Yeah, no, I don, I don't know no Lano edited that out. Lano edited that out.
Speaker 5:Because it was bad that footage hasn't aired yet.
Lano:No, it was bad the last episode.
Rick:No, not last week's.
Speaker 5:No, no, no, the first episode, no last week's was bad.
Mig:Last week was bad.
Rick:Yeah, last week was bad.
Mig:Yeah, yeah. Last week I looked over at this dude. He was digging in there.
Speaker 5:I'm looking at him.
Mig:He's like hey, lotto did they? See me in your camera.
Gino:Like the wheels started turning, stuff started clicking and I had to go back. When he said that I had to go back to look, and then I did see him digging in there Was he making facial expressions People probably would have been like get that guy to the doctor.
Speaker 5:That's how bad it was. I was like this I was like this I went.
Mig:Like a dog when you yell.
Speaker 5:Yeah, like a dog.
Mig:I said we need to prescribe you a Prevecto there, buddy.
Rick:Yeah, no, I'm good man, it's just, you know, it's a guy thing. Yep, yeah man, hey, lano, yeah. So we just want to send some. We won't talk about it too much, but Well, our number one listener.
Gino:Yeah, our number one listener. Yeah, our number one listener.
Rick:We'll send out our wishes.
Gino:We'll send out our wishes.
Mig:Lionel's mom had a little Health scare Over the weekend.
Speaker 5:She's good now.
Rick:So you are. You are in our prayers and thoughts.
Mig:Very much so.
Speaker 5:Yeah.
Mig:And we are the type of group of people that say if we're praying for you, we actually pray. We don't just say it, it's not just lip service, we do it. So yeah, praying for your recovery, and Our number one listener, our number one listener from day one, our day one. Get better, get well soon.
Rick:How do you feel about the cameras? What do you think it's?
Lano:weird. It's all good, though Pretend they're not there.
Rick:You know it's a good switch up. You've been seeing the updates of you still listen to Two Bears and One Cave cave yeah what do you think about that podcast? Because I've been seeing, like you know, you ever see, guys, that that review pod, uh the comic podcast, and they've been talking shit about the, the two bears in one cave, like they're saying that tom segura already mailed it in and chrysler's just cringy. And what's your opinion on their?
Lano:that's his personality, though, chrysler.
Rick:He talks a lot, yeah, and it's been at that since the beginning, where burt will just carry on and he'll talk talking about one thing, and he starts talking about something else right away yeah and barely lets tom get in the word and edgewise yeah, because remember when we were talking about we want to have some in the bank and all this, but then we want to stay current, right, well, that's, I guess that's how they are.
Lano:They don't. They're not current at all. They have everything in the bank.
Rick:Yeah.
Lano:Because they're on tour, so they when they get together, they just record stuff.
Gino:They just record Is it weekly, so it's outdated.
Lano:Yeah, they do it every Monday it comes out. But like if, like, bert was just on tour, he did a fully loaded tour, he was gone for a while, so they'll have guests on there. But when they're both touring and they can't get together, they'll just, whenever they can, they'll get. They'll put like four or five in the bank, okay, because you'll be able to talk about certain things.
Speaker 5:You're like that happened like a month ago. Yeah, yeah, and like one episode.
Mig:I was listening they're like, yeah, well, summer's starting next week and I'm like, ooh, we're in July already. I mean, that's why it'd be hard, because you kind of would have to do episodes like that where you don't really put time or reference in, you know.
Gino:Right, it's like you just kind of try to do something in general, that's what I'm saying.
Lano:We'll talk about a movie or some cards or something, the only one that they did live, well, not live, but they recorded right after was when they did the Tom Brady the roast, the roast. They did, yeah, but it was you know. They did it that Monday.
Mig:Yeah, yeah, so they were all on.
Rick:LL.
Lano:They probably did it on site too, right? No, what they go to Bert's house. He has like a whole house that he designates for all podcasts. Oh, okay. So he turns the rooms into like studios.
Rick:Yeah.
Lano:So he has a Bert cast, he's got one for the two bears and another one, like his wife does one.
Speaker 5:Yeah, yeah.
Lano:So he has all those rooms for that and when?
Rick:they're most of the time. They're Like we were talking about staying current and all this. Yeah, it's like these bigger, way bigger podcasts, comedian podcasts are having the same issue, but they're doing the same thing.
Gino:So what are they saying? It's just like. It's not current Like. That's why you.
Rick:So like the clip I saw today was because of what happened with Trump, so like the clip I saw today was because of what happened with Trump. So they had something like they touched base about Trump real quick. So, since this thing happened with Trump, this past weekend, they played that episode, but it had nothing to do with what happened to Trump, oh, okay.
Lano:So it was just like so today's episode or yesterday's episode. I think, yeah, yeah, because they those are just recorded. Yeah, those are pre-recorded.
Rick:Oh, okay, so it was just like so yesterday's episode or yesterday's episode, I think. Yeah, yeah, cause they so. Just those are just recorded. Yeah, those are pre-recorded Like way back.
Lano:I'm sure they'll talk about it In the coming weeks.
Gino:Yeah, you guys see the TV. You see this guy right here.
Rick:You know who that is.
Gino:Stavi. Oh, that's Stavros Shane Gillis.
Lano:No, it's Stavros. Oh no, it's Stavros. Oh Well, he has a.
Gino:Netflix show and it's pretty funny. This guy too.
Lano:He's a comedian.
Gino:Is he? I didn't know who he was, but the Netflix show is pretty funny I got to see Like they work at like a tire shop or a mechanic shop.
Lano:I think it's just like six episodes.
Gino:I want to say he's Greek because there's like there's a they're like really close with John Stamos.
Rick:Oh.
Lano:Because they're both Greek. Uncle Jesse, yeah, uncle Jesse.
Rick:Oh, stamos is Greek. Yeah, oh yeah the name.
Mig:yeah, he's a pretty mother effer dude, Prettiest man I ever saw.
Rick:What do you think about all those the Rogan Sphere comics? You know they call the it the rogan circle or rogan sphere tom segura.
Lano:Uh, burt kreischer fucking um brian callen what's his face? Brandon schaub, all those guys andy schultz andrew or dan andrew schultz is more new york, but he, he blew up. He was blowing up and then he went on the rogan podcast, so I guess they kind of put him in there.
Rick:Tony Hinchcliffe too, no.
Lano:Hinchcliffe, he does a podcast where he brings people on and they just roast people. They roast each other.
Rick:Yeah, they kill.
Lano:Tony. Yeah, kill Tony. And Rogan's been a guest on there for years.
Rick:Yeah.
Lano:So I think that's what kind of helped him up. But the comics, it's those two and the other two, and then they have even Joey Diaz.
Rick:Joey Diaz. Oh yeah, Joey, but Joey Diaz has been in the game. He's like his own standalone.
Lano:He met Joe Rogan a long time ago but he's considered in that thing because they're all.
Rick:Bobby.
Lano:Lee, all these guys. No, bobby Lee's on his own.
Rick:He's old school too.
Lano:Bobby Lee actually came up with Carlos Mencia.
Rick:Yeah, that was his mentor.
Lano:He's the one that kind of took him on the road and everything.
Mig:I remember him being on what was it? It was that Mad TV. No, yeah, no, I'm saying like in the comedy world, when he was doing stand-up.
Lano:Yeah, he was on Mad TV.
Mig:Yeah, he was on that.
Lano:Frieza.
Mig:LAPD oh yeah, yeah, dude, that was good. Yeah, Did that little skit.
Lano:Yeah, yeah, when Joe Rogan did that whole Carlson and Sia thing when they were going to fight or whatever they did a video with Redman, his producer at the time, and they got Bobby Lee at the store in the back where the stairs are and they were asking him if he stole jokes Like if Carlson and Sia, and he was like I don't want to answer, man, he goes, ned's been good to me. And he was like I don't want to answer man, he goes, ned's been good to me because that's his real name, Ned.
Lano:Yeah, he goes. When he said he was on the road with him, that he bought him a car, he took him on the road he took him to. He's from Honduras.
Speaker 5:Yeah.
Gino:Guatemala.
Lano:Honduras.
Speaker 5:I think Honduras.
Rick:He took him to Honduras to meet. If he had a goatee, he'd be short and stubby like Maddie.
Lano:So yeah, he said he was really good to him. He even went on the podcast and they talked about it on the Tiger Belly.
Rick:But Bobby Lee's changed his tune these days. No, because he had that podcast with Carlos Macias telling him to kind of admit it.
Lano:Yeah, well before that he was having problems with Brandon Schaub and Brian.
Gino:Callen.
Speaker 5:Oh, this guy yeah.
Lano:What's that? There's a website where people talk shit about all kinds of stuff Reddit, yeah, reddit, reddit. They said that there's a subculture on Reddit about Brandon Schaub. Everybody's just talking shit about him and they're saying that Bobby Lee's Tiger Belly was sending out fucking shit, talks or whatever. So he called him up and told him like what the fuck dude? And Brian Callen fucking like kind of threatened him. So Bobby Lee's not a confrontational guy.
Rick:Yeah, yeah.
Lano:He's just like, oh, what the hell? So then he got pissed. He's like you know what, I'm tired of all this shit. I didn't do nothing. I didn't do nothing. They even had Brandon Schaub on the show and he kept saying show me the evidence he goes oh, they're sending it to my phone right now, but he never showed him shit. Never showed him anything. So after that, he's like you know what I'm done, being the guy that everybody kicks around because I'm going to start signing up for myself.
Lano:He says his agent will call him too, and he was like just look at it and kind of ignore it and he'd be like yeah, I have a gift for you, and he's like whatever. And then he finally answers he goes what he goes. Hey man, do you want to do this? Oh, ok, yeah, yeah, let's do that, yeah, yeah, yeah, sign it up, sign it up, he goes why.
Rick:Nice.
Gino:Now this show on Netflix. It has.
Rick:Sean Gillis.
Gino:But it I like. It's pretty funny. It kind of reminds me of the Office, like the way it's filmed, but it's like at a mechanic shop. So imagine the.
Lano:Office. Is that the one you're getting a lot of grief for, because he says a lot of bad shit in it?
Gino:There's a lot of talk on the internet about it Like talking about girls and stuff. You know what I mean.
Lano:Yeah, like the way he's like Chauvinistic.
Gino:Well, they have like a bikini, car wash and stuff. So they have stuff like that. But if you see it, catch it. It looks like the Office, but at a tire shop.
Rick:First season. Yeah, one season.
Gino:It came out like maybe a month ago or a couple months ago.
Lano:Well, real quick back to Bobby Lee. You know I met that dude right. No way, me and Danny we're at what was the club on the corner of Royal Parkway in Colorado.
Gino:Villasarizo no. No it was at McMurphy's.
Rick:McGillicuddy's.
Lano:No, was it Ixtapa? Yeah, but before it was Ixtapa, no it was.
Gino:It was McGillicuddy's. No, no, no, was it.
Mig:McMurphy's or McGillicuddy's, mcmurphy's was on the side street Fair Oaks. It was next to.
Rick:Domenico's Was it next to McGillicuddy's?
Lano:Was it? Whatever the hell it was we were there. It just happened to be the night that.
Rick:Desiree sent me a message for you.
Lano:Yeah, I think I remember that we were walking out and there's a bus stop there and a pole.
Lano:We're walking out and I just see someian dude hanging on the pole like playing around, and I look at him like oh shit, that's bobby lee. And then he's like, oh shit, I go, what's up, bobby lee. I'm, I'm, I'm fucked up. I go, what's up? He goes hey, how's it going? Man, I got all kind of scared like what's up, bro, big fan? He goes. Oh, thank you, thank you. And I walk away and I go why the fuck's he scared? He goes well, look how fucking big you are, yeah.
Lano:And then he goes, then you're drunk.
Mig:I'm like, yeah, I guess so well, remember, we met, uh, rob schneider one time birthday party zen room. Yeah, yeah, dude bought me a beer, yeah, yeah dude, like for your birthday.
Rick:My birthday, yeah you remember that? No, I don't remember seeing rob schneider. I was pretty tore up.
Gino:They acted stupid dude, you know he's filipino. Yeah, I didn't know that. My schneider. Yeah, my wife's family, no way. Like half or something, I don't know.
Lano:He's got to be half.
Mig:That's why they did that crack in grown-ups About him looking like a Filipino Fonzie. Yeah.
Lano:He walked in and we were in that side room Remember the room off to the side on the right, and I was there with Nicole Manuel and his friend Aaron and somebody else, and they're like oh shit, look there's Rob Schein and I go oh good, he got my email.
Lano:When I went up to the bar he was like right there, and he turned. I go hey man, big fan, big fan, bro, and birthday. He goes. What are you drinking? I go Hennessy on the rocks, he goes, get him his drink. That's cool man. Yeah, he was a cool dude man.
Mig:Is he short, really approachable? Yeah, he's short.
Rick:You know, there were a lot of people Bothering him.
Lano:Nah, nah, he was like Minkling, just talking, walking around like freely, everybody's like oh shit, like behind his back. But he, that was real cool.
Gino:You guys know that show Tim and Eric or something. No, I don't either, but like some guys, tim and Eric.
Rick:But this guy with the beard you guys know that guy One of those guys, one of those shows.
Gino:I saw him. I bumped into him At Flaro's one time.
Mig:Is that the picture that you took with him right there?
Gino:No, but like when we saw why would you get a?
Rick:stranger. I don't care if he's famous, he's a stranger to you.
Gino:My wife was like super, I guess, eric.
Mig:Why are you always a small spoon in pictures?
Gino:Well, my wife and them were.
Rick:Hey, when are you going to be the big spoon? Huh?
Gino:My wife was super excited because I grew up watching him on whatever show he was on.
Mig:Oh, so she didn't mind the picture.
Speaker 5:It's like her era but I didn't know he was. She told me to take it.
Rick:Oh man, and then that little.
Gino:Indian guy. From what is it? The junior college show.
Rick:The old man or the young guy, the old man from 40 Year Virgin.
Gino:No, no, no. It's like a show about a junior college.
Speaker 5:My sister and I Harold and Kumar.
Lano:That's not junior college bro.
Gino:No, it had that guy. Who was that?
Lano:guy who used to do like. What did it come out on?
Gino:Regular like Channel 4. Nbc.
Rick:I haven't watched Channel 4 since I was a kid man.
Lano:The only thing I watch on Channel 4 is fucking Law and Order SVU.
Gino:Okay, there's the Office and then. Parks and Recreation and then another show.
Rick:Oh, is it the one, the one, the girl that's an Indian.
Gino:No, it's the guy, but we bumped into him In the Highland Park. I forgot his name. He's a famous. Are you thinking about the?
Lano:girl that I said Sounds like Dolores.
Rick:Yeah, yeah, the Mindy chick.
Speaker 5:Yeah.
Rick:Well, I don't know if. If Danny told you Over the weekend he said he saw Exhibit at a gas station in Chatsworth.
Mig:Yeah, he said he was pumping gas next to him or something.
Rick:Yeah.
Lano:I texted you guys saying that my cousin and his friend were joining the Liquid Crew because they were throwing up, oh yeah, and then he said yeah, it's funny you say that because I texted Rick that I saw Exhibit pumping gas next to me. Yeah, yeah, the Liquid crew kind of night. So what the?
Mig:hell were they trying to prove?
Lano:It was my.
Mig:What were they doing?
Lano:It was Frankie's baby's first birthday.
Mig:Okay.
Lano:So he was drinking beer all day and then one of their friends from school, or the administrator from school, made friends with him. So she comes to a lot of their parties. So her boyfriend brought a karaoke machine out so they're doing karaoke and he sang that Chris Stapleton song.
Rick:Tennessee Whiskey, that one.
Lano:So he's like where's the whiskey at? So my cousin brought out the bottle of Jack and it was like a little more than half, and then when I seen it it was like two fingers on the bottom. So I don't know how much they drank, but his friend was like Tennessee Whiskey's good. The song, no the drink, the whiskey.
Rick:Oh, I'm sorry, jack Daniels, you're talking about the song. Yeah, yeah.
Lano:But yeah, it's Jack Daniels.
Speaker 5:I thought I missed it, I totally missed it. I thought you actually brought out Tennessee whiskey.
Lano:That was Dog's favorite drink. You don't leave, jack.
Rick:He had that shit.
Speaker 5:He had that on Friday I don't think. Dog has a bunch of sophisticated pallet there. Sorry, Dog.
Gino:Community. This is the guy. I don't know if you guys know him. No man.
Rick:He's a nobody.
Gino:I bumped into him in Highland Park Community is about a junior college, yeah.
Rick:Yeah, that's got me. He's a nobody, nobody, nothing.
Gino:So have you been watching any movies? G TV shows.
Lano:No, I've been re-watching TV shows. I guess been re-watching TV shows. I guess I re-watched Yellowstone again, because it's coming out in November.
Gino:Oh, is it coming out this November? I thought it came out. What are you guys talking about? The new season November, november 10th or something like that how many seasons, how many?
Lano:seasons. From the beginning All the way.
Mig:They're in the 5th right now.
Lano:Yeah, they only did 8 episodes of the last season. They're going to do the rest of it and then it's going to be season six.
Rick:On what platform is it? On Paramount, paramount.
Lano:Actually it comes on Paramount Network.
Rick:But that's when the new ones come out. Yeah, yeah.
Mig:If you want to stream it. I think it's on Peacock or something, yeah no-transcript.
Lano:If they would have had two more episodes, it would have been great.
Gino:I think it was just because they're off the books, Like the books had ran out. I don't know if he ever finished them, but he writing them at the time.
Lano:No, I think Karen read all the books and they said that they went off the books seasons ago.
Gino:Because they ran out. I mean, they had finished, the guy was still writing them.
Lano:So they went off book. But that last season, if they would have had two more episodes to drag some of it out, I think it would have been better. But, they crammed everything into the last two episodes.
Mig:They drugged the shit out of that show.
Gino:Well, okay, there were four seasons.
Lano:What's the point?
Gino:They didn't know what to do and they're just like drag it out.
Lano:I watched the first season and I told Eric I'm out, I'm done, I can't watch it no more. And then he told me about a certain episode and I watched that episode.
Rick:I just finished watching it.
Lano:And I started watching it again and then I'm like I can't stand. Joffrey, yeah, so as soon as he died, I started watching it again. There's so many people I hate in that damn show. I can't believe they killed Miggy in the first season.
Mig:I know that also pissed me off too.
Rick:Everybody, all my favorite characters, died within two seasons. I'm done with season 3 and that's the Last episode was they killed Lady Stark and the first born son oh right. So it's just like I know, you guys have been saying that they killed the main characters. Where is this going, dude?
Mig:It's all about the Lannisters.
Rick:Yeah, so, and then that's what's interesting I want. That's what's interesting is.
Mig:I want to see you see, but that that's what's pretty crazy too, cause cause watching the house of dragons.
Rick:Yeah.
Mig:You hear all these names. You hear like Lannisters and Baratheons, and Starks and everything.
Rick:So how did they become into power? And those?
Mig:are all from Game of Thrones. Yeah, they.
Lano:So they were already like empowered. It comes from the past.
Mig:That's what I'm saying.
Rick:They have to tell that middle story right.
Speaker 5:Because it doesn't show I mean what they tell it in the show. The.
Rick:House of.
Lano:Dragons takes place years before.
Rick:It's a hundred and I think it said 170 something years.
Mig:So that's what I'm saying. I've talked to these guys before like kind of a little off on a tangent. That's what I'm saying. I've talked to these guys before like kind of a little off on a tangent. But like 1886 and 1923 is like you hear all these names and everything and it's like you wonder how they tie into Yellowstone. You know you want to see who's who. It's like you want to see Kevin Costner. You know you want to see his character when he was a kid and how he tied in the brother from Africa.
Lano:The next one's going to be what? 44? I don't know, yes, 1944 is a new one that's going to come out.
Mig:But that's the same way I'm watching House of Dragons. It's because I'm wondering all these names. You hear all these names and I'm like, oh yeah, I remember that, I remember that.
Gino:Spencer. That's the one I'm thinking. When's Spencer going to be involved in? Well, he's going to come back and he's probably like mid-season, because we were all waiting for him to come. And then he comes at the very end when it was all done, yeah, and then he's still in France or wherever they're at there.
Lano:So he's going to take a while. Back then it was like a couple weeks, three weeks to get over there.
Gino:So they're doing 1944?
Lano:I think that's the next one that's going to come up. So are those the same? No, no, no. The second part of 1923, and then the new one is going to be 1944.
Gino:What about that ranch, the triple, or something?
Lano:That's going to be another show the Four Sixes.
Gino:Yeah, Four Sixes. Is that all time Three Sixes or Four Sixes? That's all going to be in the same world, but that's after Yellowstone right, Yellowstone Universe or whatever, Because you haven't watched any of the Yellowstones right?
Lano:No, I haven't watched any, that's the show you should watch.
Rick:But is everyone connected, is it?
Lano:the same people. You see, that's what I'm saying. 1886 and 1923 are the generations that started it all.
Rick:No, I'm saying the people that are making the shows are all the same. Oh yeah, Yellowstone.
Mig:That dude from Sons of Anarchy that Tyler.
Lano:Sher, the one that's going to take over for the old man.
Gino:He's the writer in.
Mig:Korean. He's the one that created all this.
Lano:He's the one that will tell them like, oh, what's the names in your pocket? But I'm not going to be in your pocket Like I'm going to fucking.
Rick:The bald guy, the sheriff.
Lano:No, the younger guy.
Mig:Oh yeah, that's the writer, yeah, so that's Tyler Sherry, so he's writing all these connecting stories.
Speaker 5:He's making the whole story.
Lano:See, he has all the Yellowstones, the past ones and the new one. He has Mayor of Kingstown. He has Tulsa King.
Mig:Oh, Tulsa King 2. Have you seen that? No, I haven't. I've seen it.
Gino:You've got to watch that one. My wife loved that one.
Lano:Season 2 is coming out next month.
Gino:Oh, really In September, I think. Okay, we're excited about that.
Mig:Everybody's talking about that show.
Lano:Tulsa King's with Sly Stallone bro. He plays a mobster that went to prison for 20 years and he comes out and he goes back thinking he's going to get his due. At a dispensary and they sent him to Tulsa.
Gino:They want him out of exile. Yeah, yeah.
Lano:He goes all right, because I'm going to go earn. I'm going to do what I got to do he takes over, he takes over everything. It's a good show, really good show.
Gino:And then I've seen this one High Water or something. This one it Pretty good yeah he did.
Lano:that one too I watched it and he also he was a writer on Damn, so he's.
Rick:So.
Gino:When he did this, he was an actor Writing talent he was just an actor, and then he started writing after the show he wrote on Sicario too.
Lano:I think he was one of the writers. Yeah, Was he?
Rick:Mm-hmm. He said forget acting, he's going to write.
Lano:Well, he still acts on Yellowstone he came out in 1886. He hasn't come out in 1926. He's on that.
Mig:Four, sixes, ranch, huh Huh. He's one of the the drivers.
Lano:He's the one that took Jimmy to the Four Sixes.
Gino:He works for the horse show. He's the one that makes them dance together. He works the horses, they do the breaks, but he was in 1886, too, he had a big old beard on him.
Lano:That's pretty cool, so he puts himself in the episodes. He's a pretty good actor.
Gino:He doesn't well him and they don't get along with Costner. Yeah, that was him in 1886.
Lano:I think Costner.
Gino:Oh man.
Lano:He's already gone.
Gino:He left the show? Yeah, but I think Because they kind of make him kind of turn bad. I think Costner always wants to be a good guy. That's my theory.
Lano:The whole season he's been kind of like the, so you guys, don't spoil it for me.
Rick:Is it something with?
Speaker 5:the character, something that happened with the character, or he just didn't want to do it. No more.
Mig:No, I think it's them personally. Yeah, he, because it was like a personal conflict.
Lano:You think costner did that that movie horizon right yeah yeah yeah, well, he was he. He says he likes to have it where.
Lano:Okay, we're gonna do the show at this time if it's gonna be this month then he wants to work because he says the last couple seasons they were like long seasons, so he had he just did that the whole year, but he wanted to start doing movies again. So he had this passion project and he wanted to do this. And they're like well, we need you to come here. And he goes well, I can't do it, I can't be in two places at once. So that's where the conflict started, supposedly. And then he was so happy about the first episode coming out. So he's like, oh yeah, part two is going to come out in August, but they flopped at the box office Horizon.
Gino:Yeah, they do.
Lano:So they pulled part two For next year or something like that? No, what I'm hearing now is part one is going to go on to HBO, max or whatever it is, and they're going to put part two on there. Wait, they were in theaters already. Yeah, oh, part, and they're gonna put part two on their. Wait, they're releasing it in theaters already.
Gino:Yeah, oh, part one came out like in June when.
Rick:Like.
Gino:June 18th yeah.
Rick:But it's funny. I got an email.
Mig:I thought it was still gonna have to come out.
Rick:No, it came out already. It's probably in the fire segment.
Gino:No, no, it came out, but then Cause it didn't do well, like they're delaying the second one Because they want more people to see it. It cost $100 million to make.
Lano:And it made like $23 million the first weekend, or whatever it was. Oh wow. Because I got an email that you can rent it or buy it already. Yeah, I got an email.
Gino:You can rent it or buy it.
Lano:So they want to put it on HBO Max. They're going to put Part 2 on there Straight November 10th.
Mig:Oh, part 2 is coming up, so they want to have it to where they all the buzz would be like, oh yeah and part one's gonna be on hbo next I mean, and you know I was kind of afraid of that because his version of of uh white herbs sucked, yeah, yeah, he can't make westerns, yeah, yeah well, I mean that's with wolves well, it's not really a western it's not really, oh, we lost, we lost, but I mean
Speaker 5:camera.
Gino:The battery was in charge, we lost the camera.
Mig:That was my fault.
Gino:I didn't know that.
Mig:Well, we'd like to thank G for showing up the camera was in charge Part of the interview process.
Speaker 5:I didn't know I was on a Diamond episode.
Gino:How do?
Rick:I zoom out right here. Well, just put it on the thing. Zoom that thing out. We got coverage here there. We go Right there. That's better.
Mig:I'll just stay and show where it is Well since we're on the topic of Westerns, you're the one that sent me that thing on Doc Holliday saying I'm your huckleberry and the whole explanation of the huckleberry. Did you go back and listen to it?
Speaker 5:Yeah. He clearly says huckleberry, huh, huckleberry, yeah.
Mig:I told these guys the other last episode I think it's supposed to be a pallbearer. Yeah.
Rick:Yeah, Maybe you should show me that Mind-blowing dude.
Gino:You told them that we saw these different, and now it's so clear.
Mig:It's like I went back and I hear it.
Rick:I'm like dude, it's like he clearly says Huckleberry. Hey, but you know what? There's even people that made t-shirts that say Huckleberry. Yeah Well, all the YouTube videos.
Lano:Huckleberry. Yeah, it sounds like Huckleberry. Yeah, but now that we know the Well the. Youtube Because Huckleberry was like oh okay. Maybe that was the thing back then.
Mig:That was the thing. It's like you're kind of like I'm Huckleberry. It's like, well, what the hell does that mean? But Huckleberry?
Lano:that. That makes more sense that makes better sense that's some Doc Holliday shit right there. That makes that line even harder okay, since we're on the topic, I seen a video on YouTube where it's a dude that talks about old movies and they want to bring back there's talk which I don't even know why that they want to revisit the tombstone.
Speaker 5:They want to redo it with different actors and he's like he goes.
Lano:If they do it, he goes. Who do you think would be Doc Holliday and I go? Nobody. Nobody could do it better than the fucking Val Kilmer. Nope, that's it. They shouldn't even touch it. Nope, sorry, nope, shouldn't even touch it.
Gino:No, that movie's not like to make or to write it yeah, or make the movie, not the yeah but they can't, yeah, but the actors, it's that's the one character on there.
Lano:I mean you can replace a lot of people on that, but you can't replace.
Gino:Wyatt Earp or you can't replace, yeah, not the four men, rick's a big right now a big Ryan Gosling fan you think he could do it?
Lano:I'm a Rang, he was a stuntman. Okay, I get that.
Mig:But what? Every episode was just him doing stunts. Was he fighting crime?
Lano:No, he was like yeah, like fighting crime. It was almost like a Magnum PI type guy. Okay, well, that's what I'm saying.
Mig:It's like how the hell did he fight himself? Fighting crime if he's a stuntman.
Lano:The people around him, that chick and other dude. They were all kind of like in that thing.
Rick:They were caught up in Hollywood scandals, man, that's just what it was. What are you talking about?
Gino:I was looking it up and I guess some people died on the set. That's why they canceled the show.
Lano:The TV show. Yeah, two people.
Gino:Because they would do stunts. And then two people passed.
Mig:I don't know Because that movie or that show. The only thing I remember was he had a badass truck and I loved that truck. Dude, that he had a badass truck, yeah, I love that truck dude that he had.
Rick:Yeah, that's the only thing I remember that they brought it back and it's almost identical yeah well, it is identical. Probably the the replica of that old truck yeah it's badass truck the brown chevy but it's just. I told him it was um kind of funny. Um, it would you say it's like, this is the truck I remember. Would you say it's like Like a corny funny.
Gino:Because of the way I'm not into corny. That's why.
Lano:It's like an ironic funny. It's like an ironic funny, you know like he's not trying to be funny, but the shit that he says is funny.
Gino:Like I'm not a big Deadpool fan, like it's too much, like too corny for me, I know.
Lano:A lot of people love it.
Speaker 5:It's like a movie. Yeah, I don't know, it's too corny for me all the talking.
Lano:You know, when. I became a Ryan Gosling fan. The nice guys.
Rick:Oh yeah, Dude.
Gino:Oh yeah, I remember that. Oh yeah, him and Russell Crowe. Yeah, oh, I did see that, but it was Not only that.
Rick:But it was Kind of like the same humor. Yeah, it was the.
Lano:The shit that they did after, where they were like Kind of breaking up their buddy thing. And they did videos when, like they did, like A video where they had a, a therapist come and he goes, he goes. What's up with the? What's up, bro? He goes. I didn't say it. I didn't say it.
Rick:He goes it wasn't me. It's kind of like he's a goofball man, yeah, but it's funny, I mean, and then the being that it's all a stunt thing, like the action it's a pretty badass movie.
Gino:Check it out. Well, I want to ask G about the mayor of Kingstown. Is it I only?
Lano:saw the first season, I couldn't get into it. Who's in that? So you didn't like. I thought you liked it.
Mig:From the Avengers. Yeah, the dude Hawkeye with the arrows.
Gino:Yeah, but he wrote it's another Terry Taylor, taylor Sheraton, so it wasn't good, my aunt loved that show she, so it wasn't good, my aunt loved that show.
Rick:She watched every episode. How many seasons, two I?
Lano:think the third season just started oh really yeah, but they pushed it back because of his accent, because he got, he got messed up, yeah because that accent was crazy but the first season I watched. I don't even know if I watched the whole season, but I watched a lot of them and it just you know when you watch something and it doesn't grab you. Yeah, that was that for me. I just couldn't get into it?
Rick:Okay, was it because there wasn't a character that captured you?
Lano:No, it was just like the storyline, it was just. It was weird to me, like the whole premise is that they run this town and they run the prisons, and they run the prisons and they run the gangs and they do this and that yeah so they're like in a way that he's kind of crooked, but it makes it to where the city can run perfectly fine I find it, when I'm seeing a show, if there's not characters that kind of like draw me in or that I like, or the story could be like yeah, badass, yeah, but if I don't like a character or a character that draw me in, I won't watch it.
Lano:My rule of thumb is I give it. Everybody says give it three episodes, but I give it four, just to make sure. I don't know this guy's name, but I like this guy and after four episodes, if I'm not caught yet.
Mig:I'm done With me. It's really simple. If I stay awake to the episode you got me, no, you got me, no, I'm serious it's because I need that stimulation, I need that mental stimulation, so I need, like, my brain to be working, like what's going on here, you know, is this gonna happen? Is this gonna happen? Is this gonna, you know, if it's just like Explosions and killing and blah, blah, blah, you know, like Just dumb, too fast, too serious, cause there's two shows that I've watched, then I'll fall asleep.
Lano:There's two shows that I've watched in the past that got me. One of them got me in the first 10 minutes and the other one got me in the first episode. The one that got me in the first episode was Sons of Anarchy, the first season, the first run, and the one that got me in the first 10 minutes was the what the fuck's his name Justified?
Gino:I haven't seen Justified yet.
Lano:Justified the first 10 minutes of it dude.
Gino:You're like holy shit. What did you think of Mayans, the final season? Did you like it?
Speaker 5:It was good.
Rick:How many seasons did Mayans have? Six, so they're done.
Lano:Yeah, and that's another one that kind of rushed too. I was watching that show.
Gino:My wife gave up on it because she said it was too much Too much what.
Rick:Like dying and stuff I think they pushed easy.
Gino:Oh, too much violence Too fast Too fast to the role.
Speaker 5:Yeah.
Rick:I had a hard time with Sons of Anarchy because of the acting. It was a lot of corny.
Gino:But I think it's a lot of authentic bikers or authentic gangsters Happy was a real biker Right right, I think that's.
Rick:No it was just the writing of the one-liners. They were pretty stupid one-liners for me.
Lano:I mean, the show for me was pretty good.
Mig:The thing is I think I got three or four episodes deep into it and I haven't really Gone back to it, so the story. It kind of Grabbed me For like a few episodes but I'm not like, oh man, what happened? I gotta go back and watch the rest of it. But you know what grabs me.
Gino:Is like the location, cause it's the valley, and like I know the area, like I recognize the area, Well, a lot of it was filmed in the valley Santa Clarita.
Lano:And a little bit in acting.
Rick:That was like that movie for me Like.
Lano:When I go home on Soledad when his dad died, where they had the writing Like I pass by that a lot.
Gino:And then Mayans was like In, like TJ, it was like a town, like nearby, right there, right, actual, they just Did the show in there, but a lot of it was done in the valley too. Oh, really Same areas.
Lano:Cause Sheridan. Cause like the clubhouse.
Gino:I could like take you where it's at right, cause they still had Well at the time they still had the the.
Lano:Tyler Morrow.
Gino:Yeah, on the Well it had like the the sun's on the roof. Yeah, like Like North Hollywood.
Rick:You finished watching it, Ronald.
Gino:Saticoy yeah yeah, no, I finished. Did you like it? Yeah, yeah, I mean I liked it Kind of the. Are you going to recommend it? I'm waiting. They say a third show's coming out. I'm waiting for it.
Rick:Third show. I thought it was six seasons. No, like a different you, their sons and then like another, another show of that, another spinoff yeah, that I'm.
Gino:I'm waiting that. I heard that the guy from um, the little bald guy from sons, like he's working on it or I don't know what, but I know that the creator like they got mad at him or like he was abusing people or something like that.
Lano:That was from xs but fx, but he's couldn't go anywhere else and do it. But yeah, I've heard um. Even charlie hunnam said that he's talking about his character might be coming back somehow I would like to see the story of the dad like younger well, they were supposed to do the first nine yeah, that was the original.
Gino:Yeah, whatever, was that the original?
Lano:nine what's the name? Got fired from fx oh, so you never, but he has his story, he was working on and then now I guess he's's trying to ship it or shop it somewhere, or whatever. I don't know?
Speaker 5:Yeah, they've talked about it for years, and then a lot of shit happened on the Mayans.
Lano:I think the third season of Mayans was the guy that he brought in. He did the rest of them and he got fired, but he still got paid for shit.
Mig:Hey, what about that movie that's out right now? I think it's called like the Bike Riders or some shit yeah.
Gino:That's what it's called yeah. With the guy from the movie Elvis yeah.
Mig:Yeah, the dude from Elvis. And what's his name? Tom Hardy? Yeah, tom Hardy's in it. Oh yeah, I mean, I heard it's doing good.
Rick:I've been seeing good stuff about it.
Gino:Yeah, yeah, you could rent or buy it already. It's awesome.
Rick:Yeah, that's what I want to try Because of Hardy. I want to see.
Gino:Hardy.
Rick:Yeah. But you remember, you know.
Lano:Reedus is in it too. Right, who, norman Reedus? Oh yeah, oh yeah. Yeah, daryl, he has a big beard, he's going to come out In his Indian. So, mayan, he's using somebody else's bike With a shift.
Rick:Like a suicide shifter.
Lano:Suicide shifter With a ducky on top.
Gino:Yeah, so remember at the beginning Of Mayans Easy, he had like some like Photographic memory and all that. Remember they were like Show highlights. Then they kind of went away From all that stuff, like I.
Lano:I thought his story went off.
Gino:It was a new writer, that's why, like they got away From that original Thing In the case of God's husband got fired.
Rick:I'm not really. I don't think I'm gonna go back and watch it, but how long did it last? How did Angel? How long did Angel last?
Speaker 5:The last, the whole season, everything.
Rick:Hey, would you guys say yeah he lasted the whole.
Lano:Thing.
Rick:Would you guys say that he?
Lano:was the only Reyes that survived.
Rick:Oh yeah, oh damn. So what's his name? What's his name? Easy, he was the only Reyes that survived. Oh yeah, oh damn, so what's his name?
Speaker 5:Daira.
Rick:What's his name? Easy, you guys just spoiled it. Spoiled it.
Gino:It's been off the air for like a year or two I don't know More like three years, Three years Spoiled it.
Rick:Hey would you guys say that Star Wars is the first movie series to be made out of place, or what's the way like prequels and all that, yeah, or what's before, before Star Wars, because I was no Star Wars in this late 70s.
Gino:Oh yeah, I mean I'll be the only.
Lano:I would say back to the future. To is a prequel. No one, I mean part one would be the only one. I would say Back to the Future 2 is a prequel no one, I mean part one. He goes back to the past.
Rick:Well, I mean no, but the storyline, the actual movie, yeah, storyline, I mean because it's well known.
Mig:You know, Lucas made it well known that he had all the episodes written, you know.
Speaker 5:but he started with four.
Mig:Okay, so that's because he thought Luke Skywalker was going to be the most relatable or likable character. The story would be easier to tell from four, five, six.
Rick:Would they be the first movie or story that's told out of place? What other movie?
Mig:I mean right now that I think about it, yeah. I can't think of Any other ones that.
Rick:George Lucas was the one that Pauly started it. You think yeah.
Lano:Yeah, cause he did episode 1 In what 99, or Was it?
Rick:Yeah, telling a story Out of place? Yeah, why? Cause? If he would've Started with episode 1 Back in the 70's?
Lano:I don't think it would've been what it is now. No story out of place. Yeah, why? Because if he would have started with episode one back in the 70s. I don't think it would have been what it is now.
Mig:No.
Rick:Because, I don't think anyone before that would have. They wouldn't have known what it was. I mean to even be writing that way, right?
Lano:No, but even if he would, have just did that as the main movie, the Star Wars one, I don't think we'd get all the rest of Star. Wars, because I don't think Even back then Jar Jar Binks wouldn't have been anything. Everybody would have been pissed at that Like what the hell is that?
Mig:Yeah, the storyline is what it is because we know what happened already.
Lano:Well.
Mig:To be fair, back then I don't think his characters would have been the same as they were with the tragedies that he made after, Even with the characters.
Lano:I think just the storyline, just the start of it.
Mig:Yeah, I know.
Lano:I don't think it would have taken off, Because the reason it took off was because everybody loved the first three movies, oh yeah. So now we're seeing how it all began. Yeah, of course, yeah. But if he would have started with just that one, they would have been like what the fuck is this? Like they wouldn't have known anything until way later. I'm like, ah, that don't make sense.
Mig:I mean because really, when you look at it, episode one, one there's really no conflict.
Mig:The trailer yeah, there's really like no conflict to be resolved at the end of the movie. You know episode one, you have the Death Star, you know. So the whole purpose of the movie is to destroy the Death Star before it starts destroying planets. Right, they do that mission accomplished, so then they move on to Empire, get deeper into the characters before it starts destroying planets. They do that mission accomplished, so then they move on to Empire, get deeper into the characters.
Gino:You know, you find out. Some people say, empire is their favorite one.
Mig:Empire is my favorite one, you have to say episode. Episode 5.
Rick:No, no, but you started off.
Mig:You started off episode 4, New Hope.
Gino:They added that right, it wasn't always called New Hope. Was it off episode 4, new Hope? You know they added that right, it wasn't always called.
Mig:New Hope Was it. It was always New Hope.
Gino:Was it.
Lano:I trip out how they changed Darth Vader when he comes back On the last one.
Mig:I hate that dude.
Gino:Yeah, I wanted that. Oh, I hate that so much With the red eyes and the black eye.
Lano:No, no. And the Jedi, the holograms of the Fucking the dead, when, when, uh, when, obi-wan and yorda come back.
Speaker 5:They redid it. And then uh, anakin, yeah, shows up christiansen yeah dude oh, I hate that so much.
Mig:Yeah, yeah, yeah, way to piss me off, dude, let's get my blood pressure up, man they added that when they added like scenes with han solo and jabba the hutt and stuff right
Gino:they added like I'm always mad a whole first scene where, like han Solo's making the old Jabba Smash Well.
Rick:I mean, I think they're the first ones.
Lano:Yeah, it has to be.
Mig:I mean, I can't really think of anybody else that.
Rick:One of their movie right. That's told out of place.
Mig:Well, all those stupid Lord of the Rings ones, you know they're doing like all their.
Rick:But those things weren't made back then.
Mig:No, I know't made back then, I know, but back then I mean, trilogies were rare.
Rick:Because if those books might have been written already, but for someone to say, oh, we're going to start in the middle to tell the story, then after go back and tell the beginning to mix it up.
Lano:I would have been the way I am now.
Rick:I wouldn't have watched any of those movies Like the way Tarantino does a movie.
Lano:Have you guys seen any of the Lord of the Rings movies?
Rick:Man, I probably only got through like the first episode the first. So when that new.
Gino:I watched like maybe 20 minutes of the first episode and I'm like so when that Amazon show came then I never got around to watch that Amazon show, so I just thought that I was with my friend Ben, and he's like you're going to watch this.
Lano:And he put it on the TV and I'm watching it and after 20 minutes I'm like, yeah, take this shit out, because I can't watch it.
Rick:For the life of me, dude I don't know how people got you got to be into that type of movie.
Gino:People are fans of that guy.
Mig:Look at it.
Rick:Like Vanessa loves Harry Potter because she likes all that. That's another one.
Mig:I can't get into it. I don't know if I can get into it, dude, it's just too much.
Gino:She likes the Fantastic Beasts.
Mig:Because when that?
Gino:Harry Potter movie came out.
Mig:It came out like right after episode one and I'm watching this movie and I'm like dude, this is like a straight ripoff of episode one, phantom Menace. It's like you get this young kid. He's found to discover these powers. He doesn't know how to control it, he doesn't know how to use. Then they have this one scene where they're racing. They're racing on the brooms or whatever, playing their game and this is the pod races where Anakin's in.
Mig:You know, it's like it's all these parallels and everything they straight ripped off Phantom Menace in this movie. It's like how does nobody else see that?
Lano:I never saw it. It's like screw this. But now that I know that Rick's lady likes Harry Potter, this is going to show up one day with the cake and the cloak and the wand.
Gino:Halloween One Halloween.
Lano:He's going to buy a kid's one, like Jim Carrey in yes man. He's going to be like I couldn't buy another one.
Gino:Getting back to Sons, I found this. It says Kurt Sutter had planned four chapters of SOA Universe Chapter 1, sons of Anikar, chapter 2, mayans, chapter 3, the First Nine and then Chapter 4, Sons, which is the guy's kids, kids, yeah, but they stopped after. I guess he got fired.
Rick:He had to do that. I think he just scrapped it. I don't know if the audience is.
Gino:Like a Kings Like a medieval time show or movie.
Lano:Yeah following for all the the Sons movies and the Mayans they're hooked on it.
Gino:Who did Lord of the Rings, who's the big director or whatever, because there's a following for that guy too, peter Jackson, there's a, a following for that guy too.
Lano:Something Jackson, yeah, peter Jackson.
Gino:There's a big following for that guy too.
Rick:He did, I don't know, just because of the Lord of the Rings or what else. I don't know.
Lano:I only know his name because he was on Entourage.
Gino:They said that he does these movies but he can't edit them. He can never cut stuff out, so he leaves Super long.
Rick:Then you got a four-hour movie.
Gino:Yeah, all those movies are like that.
Mig:Seriously, dude. Yeah, you sit through an hour and a half. Yeah, almost two hours of garbage to watch like 15 minutes of action at the end of the movie.
Rick:You're going to offend a lot of people I don't care. You're going to offend a lot of people.
Mig:Do I look like someone?
Lano:that cares if I offend someone? Why did your voice get all hot? I don't care.
Mig:Bring it man. What is it a?
Rick:bunch of nerds. You got a bunch of nerds with wands man that's all right, you're going to put a spell on you dude.
Mig:I'm a Star Wars nerd with guns Are you going to? We'll see who wins.
Lano:Are you going to make it next week G? I don't know, maybe they're going to turn Mickey into the big toad, like in fucking word science.
Rick:Oh yeah, dude, nice the big toad.
Gino:As long as I get to shower with Kelly LeBrock, that's the next one we're going to watch because we're watching the Brat movie.
Rick:Oh, did you see that? The Brat documentary.
Lano:I haven't seen it. We've seen it like a month ago.
Gino:I'm not talking out of my head.
Rick:Well, I know, but I'm going to say like, oh yeah, did you see the Brat documentary? And then you're like, who's come on you?
Gino:No, no, it's been out, we've been telling you to watch it.
Rick:No, I haven't.
Gino:Me neither I haven't watched it.
Lano:yet what is it on Netflix? Right, We've been talking about it.
Gino:Me and Miguel have been waiting to talk about it because it's not what I expected.
Rick:Oh, you're disappointed Just be honest. I don't know what to watch it.
Gino:It's just different from what I expected.
Mig:Well, you know what? It wasn't as big a bombshell as we were expecting it to happen. The biggest thing I found out about it. I mean, we might as well just talk about it. You're probably never, going to watch it. Yeah, I'll watch it, but go ahead. It's really not like no spoiler thing or anything. Do you think it was that?
Gino:one guy, the writer.
Mig:The writer no.
Gino:McCarthy right.
Speaker 5:No, no. The writer of no McCarthy right no, the writer of the article.
Mig:I mean. The thing is, they blamed this writer for writing that article, making it seem that they were all like spoiled brats, prima donnas, the actors. Yeah, the actors, yeah, and they blame this dude For, like, I guess, giving him that reputation and for them Not getting a lot of roles Like what they should've. You know, it's like, of course, some of the other ones Overcame it and still.
Lano:Became famous, became yeah, rob Lowe yeah.
Mig:Rob.
Rick:Lowe Real quick. Can you guys hear me chewing? No, we didn't even hear.
Gino:Mickey's foot thing? Yeah, rob Lowe, you know who he is Real quick. Can you guys hear me chewing? No, we didn't even hear Mickey's foot thing. Huh, I didn't hear it right. The buzzing? Oh, did you charge it or you're compression? Oh, yeah, it works now, or no? Yeah, good, okay, because I didn't hear it running when I was editing.
Mig:I just had to be careful when I was putting it on the wrong spot.
Gino:It goes right on the shit. It'll be right on the bone. Yeah, it'll be right on the bone.
Mig:Okay.
Gino:But, anyways.
Mig:So you know this dude writes this article, you know, and he's just pretty much laying it out there, you know, talking about these dudes in the movies or whatever. And they blame him for giving the actors a bad reputation and having no one else want to work with them because of how difficult they are. Oh, you know. And so the writer of the article? He says well, that wasn't my intention, but I'm not going to apologize.
Lano:I thought he was just comparing them to the Brat Pack and making them the Brat Pack. No's not that.
Mig:I think that was just like the title of the article or something, and well, that was something that was put on well because when that article came out I was I wasn't reading shit back then, yeah, yeah, I mean I haven't looked up, I haven't read the article either, so I don't know what it says, but yeah, I thought it was a compliment, like on the.
Gino:You know so the guy yeah, so the guy was.
Mig:You know, he was just like writing pretty much like, yes, truthful things, you know they're partying.
Lano:They all got offended by it they're at the clubs you know, and um, some of them didn't make it, I mean, well, I know john crier didn't get a lot of shit because of that. He was associated with the Brat Pack and they just kind of like pushed him to the side, you see, and then that's the other question.
Mig:They asked too, who was in the Brat Pack?
Rick:Yeah. It's like who was it the main ones?
Lano:that I would say are.
Mig:Everybody in the Breakfast Club.
Lano:Yeah, basically. But yet, and Rob Lowe but yet in the episode in the show, this documentary, anthony Michael Hall was hardly ever mentioned. I would say he was in it, but I guess not. Well, he only did that one movie with them and then he did his other shit.
Mig:I guess that's why. Well, I mean that one movie is a pretty big movie.
Lano:But they're talking about that movie. They're talking about something fire.
Gino:St Elmo's Fire. That was the big one. I thought that started it, but that's the last movie.
Lano:That's like the main one that everybody talks about St Elmo's Fire, but then that's the thing to go into.
Mig:Is it also? Does it include Tom Cruise? Does it include? Well yeah, they started bringing up everybody from the movies. Yeah, so does it include Tom Cruise? Does it include, of course, Rob Lowe?
Gino:They started bringing in the outsiders. Is it those guys? Yeah, a lot of guys that came on.
Mig:the outsiders Does it include them.
Rick:Do you know his favorite movie movie Cry Baby with Johnny Depp?
Gino:What's Kevin Dillon's brother Older name? What's his name? Oh, matt Dillon. Was he considered one of them?
Speaker 5:It's kind of.
Mig:The disappointing thing to me Is that the ones that were the most Butthurt by the article. Were the ones that they couldn't Get to come out in the. In the dock Right. So they couldn't get a hold of Judd Nelson and they didn't have Molly Ringwald.
Rick:They all said that how is Molly not in there?
Lano:She didn't want to be.
Mig:That's right, because they showed this dude McCarthy calling everybody, people agreeing to it and everything. That's right. The dude Cause they show this dude McCarthy, yeah, calling everybody you know and like People agreeing to it and everything. And Molly didn't want To be part of it. He couldn't get a hold of her oh. It's like she wouldn't Return calls but she was part of it.
Gino:I think she answered, but she said she didn't Want to be a part of it, or? She'll call him back and never do it.
Rick:Or up.
Lano:Try not to curse during the podcast, so it was a good watch.
Mig:I mean it was a good watch. It was pretty crazy because John Cryer comes on in it. You know it's like he has to dude.
Lano:He was always adjacent to it, ducky man.
Mig:How could Ducky not be in there? How could he not be considered a?
Lano:What I didn't know and I saw the previews was him andilio having a beef well, because the article was originally about emilio estevez.
Gino:so like emilio estevez is kind of like talking out of his ass and then like like he was mad, like how come you didn't stop her, why'd you allow this? Or like like mccarthy was really like butthurt about it, like really upset, like like emotionally he carried all his baggage all these years, like he needed to like get it cleared up. But because they say, like Emilio was like the leader and like he was all offended, like why were you the leader this and that?
Mig:What's really crazy, though, dude, is seeing how much Emilio Estevez looks like his dad now looks like his dad now.
Gino:Yeah, exactly he's like spinning. I used to think it was Charlie Sheen, but it's Emilio. Now you could tell they're brothers. But yeah.
Lano:He looks a lot like Martin.
Gino:He looks just like it looks like. I mean, I haven't seen that show on West Wing, but it looks like West Wing.
Lano:Hey dude, Did you get that thing I sent you about Young Guns 3? I was about to say that right now. Remember you asked me, I was like they're just waiting for the people that own it to give it an okay. Give it a clearance.
Rick:Emilio already wrote the freaking script, because he wasn't a part of that. If they didn't let him, he was going to name it something else.
Lano:Yeah, he wants to do it. He already has Lou Diamond, I think. Kiefer no, Kiefer died on screen. Whoever didn't die on screen, they're bringing back. Kiefer didn't die.
Gino:No, Mick.
Lano:Hey, dude, he got shot.
Gino:Mick, he had a controversy.
Lano:He said let's finish the game and he went out the thing and he got killed. That's right, that's when they arrested Amito and he got, he escaped, that's what led to the death.
Gino:Yeah, now, miggy thought someone had died and ricky said he didn't. Who was that character, remember? You're saying he died. He died in young men's arkansas bob arkansas. He went to tj and got supposedly got murdered by the people in tj no one of the big guys right me and miggy said he died, but ricky said christian stater's character no, no, no. Who's the indian? The indian chavavez, emilio Chavez Chavez. Yeah, he died, he didn't die, he didn't die.
Lano:No, he got shot and he walks away.
Speaker 5:He rides off.
Lano:And the spirit horse comes for him, yeah, but they don't show his actual death, they just show that.
Mig:That's why he's coming back into the new movie Spirit Horse comes for you. Go back and watch it. This ain't the Spirit World, asshole.
Lano:I don't care, dude.
Mig:He said the Spirit Horse comes for you. At the end, the Spirit Horse came for Chavez Eat Chavez.
Lano:But what they're saying is you didn't see him die on screen where he's dead. You just see him rolled off on the horse, and then the Spirit Horse comes.
Rick:This is yesterday. That was the whole story, right? Billy the Kid was riding with, along with Arkansas Dave Rudabaugh. Dave Rudabaugh. Yeah, it's all Dave.
Gino:Rudabaugh yeah, no, it's gonna be like. And then they had a was.
Mig:George.
Lano:French. Oh yeah, they're going to be using it now. George French. Oh yeah, mr French.
Mig:His.
Lano:Buckshot George. Buckshot, george, he goes. My name is something, henry William French.
Mig:Henry William French. That's a good name too yeah.
Lano:But yeah, supposedly it's going to be. What Lou Diamond says about it was that they already have the title. It's going to say Young Guns, and then there's going to be a bunch of shootings.
Gino:It's going to shoot down Young because they're old.
Mig:Now it says here I'm going to go in the theater, and as soon as Lou Diamond comes out, I'm going to yell out bullshit. The spirit horse came for him.
Speaker 5:I've never heard this, but it says here I'm going to walk out.
Gino:Young Guns often dubbed the breakfast club of westerns. Another guy trying to make a big label.
Mig:So G I was telling these dudes did you see that they made a sequel to Gladiator?
Lano:Yeah, yeah.
Mig:See, you guys didn't believe me, I'll sign these guys.
Gino:I'll sign these guys. They did't say that we didn't believe you.
Speaker 5:I'll sign these guys.
Gino:They did a Beverly Hills Cop 4. Did you watch it? Yeah, it's a blast.
Lano:It's like a remake of the first one. I didn't really like it, I liked it, I was laughing. Just tell me it was better than the third one, garbage.
Mig:Yeah, it was way better than that, disney.
Lano:World.
Rick:In my opinion it was better than that one that was Amusement Park right.
Lano:Yeah.
Speaker 5:It was Six Flags.
Lano:But it has a lot of the first one in this one.
Speaker 5:Okay.
Lano:Kind of similarities to it.
Speaker 5:Yeah.
Lano:I was like dude, they were saying shit. I'm like fucking laughing. I'm like, oh, hell, yeah no-transcript.
Rick:Yeah, I was going to say early 40s 36, dude.
Gino:I mean, you would think he was like a mid-.
Lano:Older than shit I saw an Instagram post when they showed people from the 70s Like bomb Fucking all in the family and shit. They were all in their early 30s or mid 30s.
Mig:No dude, a lot of the cast from Cocoon. They were like in their 40s and 50s when they made that movie and they looked all old dude Crazy. The son from.
Lano:Sanford and Son. He was only like 26 and he looks like he's in his 30, like in their 40s and 50s when they made that movie and they looked all old dude Crazy, the son from Sanford and Son, yeah, he was only like 26 and he looks like he's in his 30s.
Rick:Wow yeah.
Gino:I saw the trailer, but I can't find it now. But you heard they're doing another Crocodile Dundee. Yeah, you saw the trailer. I haven't seen the trailer, but I heard about it.
Lano:I saw it, but it said Brian McBride.
Gino:No original idea. He's supposedly the son.
Lano:No original idea.
Gino:Brian McBride is Dundee.
Speaker 5:Who.
Lano:Brian McBride. Yeah, you mean Danny McBride.
Gino:Or Danny McBride. Yeah, Brian McBride is a soccer player.
Rick:He was a soccer player Daniel McBride is my boss, my ex-boss.
Gino:Well, he's the fun.
Mig:The cameo, oh, kenny Powers.
Speaker 5:Yeah.
Rick:Oh, I think he's called Danny McBride. Danny McBride.
Lano:He's saying the wrong name Because he's mad at him, danny.
Rick:McBride.
Lano:Show you made with him.
Speaker 5:I'm gonna, I'm gonna, we'll play it after. I'm gonna look for it's like.
Gino:Steve right, oh yeah.
Lano:Did you see that thing? I sent you which one when they show Kenny Powers coming out when he's in the Mexico League. Yeah, and it's supposed to be like Trump coming out.
Gino:Well, we got over a limit, but I feel dude. I mean, we don't talk politics, but do we talk about? Something, yeah, we have to Like a quick five minutes. 10 minutes.
Mig:So, okay, let's set it up. This past week Saturday everybody has heard of it. Yeah, you know, they took a shot at Trump, tried to take him out, you know, and I think just solidified his position and made him stronger than ever. What's?
Lano:popping into my head right now is who shot me? But your punks didn't finish.
Rick:Yeah, that's what I said. He's got to get that thug life tatted on his stomach, dude Popping into my head right now is who shot me.
Gino:But your punks didn't finish.
Lano:You see other people on honest on the internet trying to debunk it.
Gino:Yeah, that is staged, yeah.
Mig:There's two people critical still, I think, but me and Lana were talking about that and I'm like it's like. I know you lefties are desperate, you know Not to say I'm a right wing conspiracy theorist or anything. We'll leave that for Vampiro and his Q&A or QAnon.
Gino:Or Q, whatever, but yeah for vampito and his q a or q, anon or q whatever.
Mig:But um, yeah, but for people to be I gotta be careful dude, because it's a lot of people I know and for them to think that something like this can be staged it's like for them to believe so much what they see in movies and in TV for them to think that someone can be so precise to just clip someone in the ear.
Gino:Oh yeah, while he's moving and talking.
Mig:Yes, it's hard to do.
Gino:You can't. No, you can't do that.
Mig:I'll say that, yeah, while he's moving and talking. Yes, you can't, no, you can't do that, I'll say that's not, that's.
Lano:I read an article saying that it wasn't even a bullet hit his ear, it was the prompter that broke.
Mig:That's what they said at first, but it was a bullet.
Gino:I saw a photo where you could see the bullet passing by.
Lano:Yeah, in the background it's like bottom line, someone got killed. Someone died in the stands.
Rick:Someone died and that's going to be your response. If it was staged, that's disrespectful.
Gino:I don't care what anybody thinks. I've been looking at the fans to see if one got hit.
Rick:The man that died was protecting his family and if you're going to come out with that bullshit because that pissed me off he was a volunteer firefighter you're going to come out with that bullshit, because that pissed me off.
Lano:He was a volunteer firefighter.
Rick:You're going to come out with that bullshit saying that it was staged when someone died is disrespectful, and whoever thinks that you better check yourself because someone died. Taking that shit lightly is bullshit. That's where I draw the line.
Mig:It's like dude, this isn't freaking Grandpa Joel Tripping on the stairs or not being able to finish a sentence, or sniffing some broads hair, or fondling some little girl, or whatever. You can say that's all stage or that's all fake, or that's all AI, all you want, which it's not, because it comes out on your TV networks, it's on your coverage, it's your footage that it comes out on. I don't see it on, you know, fox, I don't see it on Newsmax, I don't see it on any of our stations. I see it on CNN, I see it on MSNBC, I see it on all the major networks you know. So that's all your guys' footage and coverage of this old man, not mine.
Mig:And for these same people that can't even see what wrong this man did in his first four years as president, they can't tell you. You ask them no, no, but wait. You ask them what is it that he did so wrong in his first four years of presidency that you hate him so much? And all they can do is name call. They call him a Nazi, they call him a Hitler, they call him a racist, they call him all these names, but you can't tell me one thing that he did that proves anything of the names you call him.
Rick:But, dude, if you're getting into discussions like that, that's their right to think that way it is. It's like it's your right to think the way you think. Yeah, it is so. It's up to you to think the way you think. Yeah, it is so it's up to you. Are you going to tell someone what to believe or are you just going to say well, I don't see it that way, but I see it this way.
Mig:No, but that's my point.
Rick:And right away, you're not going to get into a discussion with Charles. No so you can already gauge a person.
Lano:You won't even get in the room with Charles.
Mig:Let's hear what you're going to say, let's see you back up. If they can't back it up, then why get riled up? That's my point exactly. If you can't give me any points and all you can do is name call, then I know your opinion is like it's worthless Because you have no idea what you're talking about. You're clueless when it comes to Everything in the spectrum Because all you do is just Hear all this chatter. You're clueless when it comes to everything in the spectrum Because all you do is just hear all this chatter on the internet, on the mainstream media, and you just regurgitate it like a parrot. That's all you do.
Lano:And for the record, he won't get in a room with Charles, so it's irrelevant. See this picture right here.
Gino:See how they circled it. That's like the bullet whizzing by. You see it?
Rick:the bottom left, it's just stupid man like Okay, it's gonna be WWE when he's gonna blade and cut his ear. Get out of here with that shit.
Mig:We could cover it a lot more, but you know, it is what it is Prayers out to the guy.
Rick:To the firefighter that lost his life To his family condolences.
Mig:You know, and our prayers are with you For the people that also got hurt In the stands With you. Also, if you guys want to drop us a line and see what you think, feel free to drop it 323-207-0012 or hit us up on the gram. There it is. Thanks, gino, for showing up peace out.
Rick:Good having you here, brother he might be back next week.
Mig:Let's try to make this more regular. Keep drifting, y'all Later Peace.
